Prayer with Our Lady of Procrastination

O Our Lady of Procrastination,
patroness of half-finished projects,
unanswered emails,
and the laundry still sitting in the basket,
Pray for us.
When we are overwhelmed by all that must be done,
remind us that we are loved even before we are productive.
When fear disguises itself as distraction,
grant us courage to begin.
When perfection keeps us frozen,
teach us the holiness of “good enough.”
Bless our sticky notes and abandoned planners,
our tabs left open,
our craft supplies spread across the table,
and the dreams we keep saying we’ll start tomorrow.
Help us remember that rest is sacred,
but avoidance is not peace.
Give us wisdom to know the difference.
May we trust that God’s grace
is larger than our unfinished to-do lists,
and that even slow, stumbling steps
still carry us forward.
Amen.
